Deceleration Valve: Testing and Inspection
Carburetor Components:
To test the
Slow Cut Solenoid Valve, located on the
carburetor, proceed as follows.
Connector M21:
1.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector (connector M21).
2.
Apply
battery voltage (approximately 12 Volts) between terminals 2 and 4 of the SCSV.
3.
If the solenoid valve does not operate with an audible click, replace the solenoid.
