NS-10F Check 3 & 4 Control Wire to Engine Module

Complete No Start Test 10, Step E, before proceeding.

1. Place ignition switch in Off position.
2. Disconnect SMEC 14-way electrical connector, then connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 10 of connector and tan wire terminals of No. 3 and No. 4 injector electrical connectors.
3. If ohmmeter does indicate continuity, replace SMEC.
CAUTION: Before replacing the SMEC, check the Y12 terminal in cavity No. 10 of the 14-way connector to make sure it is not spread apart causing a poor connection.
4. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, check wiring from terminal No. 10 (tan wire) of 14-way electrical connector to injector for an open circuit.
