NS-13C Checking For A Shorted MAP Sensor

Complete No Start Test 13, Step A, before proceeding.

1. Turn ignition switch On and disconnect throttle position sensor electrical connector, then disconnect MAP sensor electrical connector.
2. With negative lead of voltmeter connected to ground, contact other lead to violet/white wire terminal of throttle position sensor.
3. If voltmeter reads 4.5 volts or more, replace MAP sensor.
4. If voltmeter indicates zero voltage, proceed to Test 13 step D.
