NS-13H Power Module Ground Wires

Complete No Start Test 13, Step G, before proceeding.

1. With 14-way connector disconnected, turn the ignition Off.
2. Connect one lead of an ohmmeter to the system ground eyelet.
3. Connect the other lead of the ohmmeter to the cavities 6 and 7 of the 14-way connector.
4. If ohmmeter indicates continuity at both cavities with less than .5 ohm of resistance, check the terminals in cavities 6 and 7 for damage causing poor connection. If terminals are good, replace SMEC.
5. If ohmmeter shows continuity with resistance higher than .5 ohm, repair ground circuit for high resistance to system ground eyelet.
6. If ohmmeter does not show continuity at terminal Nos. 6 and 7, check for open circuit in wiring from terminal Nos. 6 and 7 of 14-way electrical connector. If no open is found, replace the SMEC.
