NS-15F ASD Relay Control Wire For an Open Circuit

Complete No Start Test 15, Step A, before proceeding.

1. Place ignition switch in Off position, then disconnect SMEC 60-way electrical connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between SMEC 60-way electrical connector terminal No. 58 and ground, then place ignition switch in On position.
3. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace SMEC.
CAUTION: Before replacing the SMEC, check the K19 terminal in cavity No. 58 of the 60-way connector to make sure it is not damaged causing a poor connection.
4. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, check wiring from terminal No. 58 of SMEC 60-way electrical connector to ASD relay for an open circuit.
