1. Disconnect power transistor connector.
2. Check for current flow when 1.5 volts is applied between terminals 1 and 2, and then check for continuity between terminal 2 and 3 under power ON and power OFF conditions.
3. Check that no current flows when 1.5 volts is applied between power transistor terminals 3 and 2. Figure 22
4. For continuity check, use an analog circuit tester.
5. Connect the circuit tester to terminal 2 on the positive side and terminal 3 on the negative side.
