Overfill Limiter/Two-Way Valve

Accessing The Overfill Limiter:

1. Disconnect the fuel pump and fuel gauge unit connector and push them toward the bottom of the floor.
2. Pry up and remove the concealment lid, located in the floor of the trunk.

Overfill Limiter Replacement:

3. Pull the overfill limiter/two-way valve upward from the insertion part of the bracket at the tank side.

4. When replacing the valve, ensure that the valve is installed in the correct direction and that the fuel hose clamps are tight and do not leak.
5. Replace the valve into its bracket. Apply sealant around the circumference of the floor lid mounting surface, before replacing concealment lid.
6. Reconnect the fuel pump and fuel gauge unit connector.
