Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Ignition Coil:
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect the coil to
distributor ignition cable.
2.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the coil.
3.
Remove the screws holding the
ignition coil to coil bracket.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install
ignition coil into the coil bracket. Torque the screws to 85 lb.in. (9.5 Nm).
2.
Connect wiring harness connector.
3.
Connect the coil to the
distributor ignition cable.
