Air Conditioning Switch: Testing and Inspection


Checking The A/C Switch For Continuity:





1. The center console will need to be removed in order to test the A/C Switch.
Refer to COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES.
2. Check the A/C Switch for continuity at the ECONO position by connecting an ohmmeter between terminals # 1 and # 3.
Continuity should exist.

3. Check the A/C Switch for continuity at the A/C position by connecting an ohmmeter between terminals # 1 and # 4.
Continuity should exist.
