Idle Speed

IDLE SPEED
Idle speed adjustment is electronically controlled through the Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor and is not adjustable. If idle is outside of specified rpm, or is rough, or unstable, inspect and clean throttle body if deposits are visible.
After cleaning throttle body perform minimum air flow test.

IDLE SPEED - DURING MINIMUM AIRFLOW TEST
Less than 1,000 miles on vehicle 650-1250 rpm
Over 1,000 miles on vehicle 1050-1250 rpm
