EGR Tube: Service and Repair

Oxygen Sensor:

NOTE: The EGR tube is mounted between the intake and exhaust manifolds near the throttle body.

REMOVAL

1. Remove attaching bolts from intake and exhaust manifolds and remove EGR tube.
2. Clean gasket surfaces and discard old gaskets.
3. Check all surfaces for signs of leakage or cracks.

INSTALLATION

1. Install tube with new gaskets and start all bolts by hand.
2. Torque bolts to 200 in-lbs (22 Nm).
