Impact Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then wait two minutes before working on vehicle.
2. To gain access to lefthand sensor, proceed as follows:
a. Disconnect speed control servo from battery.
b. Remove battery, battery tray, powertrain control module and coolant recovery system tank.

3. Remove electrical connector.
4. Remove mounting screws and sensor.
5. Reverse procedure to install and torque screws to 90-120 inch lbs.
