Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAl
1. Remove air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect coil to distributor ignition cable.
3. Disconnect coil wiring harness connector.
4. Remove screws holding coil and remove coil.

INSTALLATION
1. Loosely install coil to intake manifold. Torque intake manifold fastener to 115 lb-in (13 Nm). Torque coil bracket fasteners to 94 lb-in (10 Nm).
2. Connect wiring harness connector.
3. Connect coil to distributor ignition cable.
4. Install air cleaner assembly. Torque air cleaner fasteners to 225 lb-in (25 Nm).
