Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Open hood.
Battery Negative Cable Remove/Install:
2.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
3.
Using a trim stick (special tool # C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry switch up and out of mounting bracket.
4.
Disconnect wire harness connector from hood ajar switch.
5.
Remove switch from vehicle.
INSTALLATION For installation reverse above procedures.
