Front Bumper: Service and Repair

FRONT BUMPER

REMOVAL

1. Release hood latch and open hood.
2. Remove grille.
3. Disconnect headlamp wire connector and remove headlamp module.for service procedures.
4. Remove front fascia. for service procedures.
5. Disconnect park/turn lamp wire connector.

6. Remove inboard and outboard bolts attaching front bumper to frame (Fig. 1).
7. Carefully remove front bumper from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position front bumper on vehicle.
2. Install inboard and outboard bolts attaching front bumper to frame. Tighten bolts to 25 N.m (19 ft.lbs.) torque.
3. Connect park/turn lamp wire connector.
4. Install front fascia.
5. Install headlamp module and connect wire connector.
6. Install grille.
