Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door trim panel and watershield.
2. Remove speaker.

3. Loosen the window regulator guide rail (Fig. 11).
4. Turn jack screws fully clockwise to "bottom out" on the regulator brackets.
5. Remove inner belt weatherstrip and glass.
6. Carefully remove regulator out access hole in door.

INSTALLATION

1. Carefully position regulator into the access hole in door.
2. Install glass and inner belt weatherstrip.
3. Install window regulator guide rail fasteners.
4. Install speaker.
5. Install watershield and door trim panel.
6. Verify proper operation.
