Side Cover Disassemble

1. Remove forks from shifter shafts.

NOTE: Forks are identical and are interchangeable.

2. Slowly push shifter shafts into side cover until detent balls fall from cover, then remove shifter shafts. The 3-4 shifter shaft has a detent.

3. Remove interlock sleeve, poppet spring and lock pin.

4. Replace shifter shaft seals if necessary.
