With Air Conditioning


Firebird
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain radiator and remove heater hoses from heater core.
3. Remove right lower hush panel.
4. Remove right lower instrument trim panel.
5. Vehicles equipped with the V8-305 TBI engine, remove ESC module.
6. Remove lower right instrument panel carrier to cowl screw.
7. Remove four heater case cover screws.
8. Remove heater case cover.
9. Remove core support plate and baffle screws.
10. Remove heater core, support plate and baffle from case.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
