Engine - Spark Plug Change For Improved Cold Starts

To assist cold startability on some 1982 1.8L OHC-FI engines, at very low ambients, the following change in spark plugs has been implemented:
CURRENT NEW
R42XLS6 R44XLS at .035 Gap
Dealer Service Information Bulletin 83-I-58 Section 6E, currently addresses 1983 model year OHC-F1 engines.
When spark plug replacement is necessary, the R44XLS plug at .035 gap should be used regardless of original plug type.
