Rear Internal Gear






1. Check rear internal gear splines, teeth and bearing surface for wear, cracks or damage.

2. Check parking pawl lugs for cracks or damage.

3. Install rear internal ear, hub end first, onto output shaft.

4. Using a suitable so vent, thoroughly clean, blow dry and check rear internal gear to rear sun gear thrust bearing assembly for damage. If any defects are found, replace thrust bearing assembly.

5. Install rear internal gear thrust bearing assembly onto output shaft with small diameter race facing rear internal gear.
