No Drive In Reverse or Slips In Reverse

1. Low oil level.

2. Manual linkage misadjusted.

3. Modulator valve stuck.

4. Modulator and reverse boost valve stuck.

5. Pump hub-direct clutch oil seal rings broken or missing.

6. Direct clutch piston seal cut or missing.

7. Low and reverse clutch piston seal cut or missing.

8. Number 1 check ball missing.

9. Control valve body gaskets leaking or damaged.

10. 2-3 valve train stuck in upshifted position.

11. 1-2 valve train stuck in upshifted position.

12. Intermediate servo piston or pin stuck so intermediate overrun band is applied.

13. Low and reverse clutch piston out or seal damaged.

14. Direct clutch plates burned may be caused by stuck ball check in piston. Outer seal damaged.

15. Forward clutch not releasing.
