Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MAP sensors are located in the engine compartment. Exact location depends on model application. Besides checking hoses and electrical connections, the only service possible is unit replacement if sensor is diagnosed as being faulty. To prevent sensor damage, exercise care when disconnecting vacuum hose from sensor.
