Subject: COLD STARTABILITY - 1983 1000 MODELS WITH L-4 ENGINE
Conditions may be encountered which include poor cold startability, plug fouling, and general tune-up maintenance. Replace R42TS spark plugs (part number 5613324) with R42CTS copper core center electrode spark plugs (part number 5613808).
