Number 85-8-19 Date 10/85
Subject: ANALOG QUARTZ CLOCK IS NOISY WHEN COLD (BELOW 20~F)

1984-85 GRAND PRIX & BONNEVILLE CARS WITH U35 BASE OPTION
Some owners may comment on a noisy or squeaking clock, especially at low temperatures (below 20~F). This is caused by loss of lubrication on an internal bearing.

This condition should be corrected by replacing the clock with a new one ordered through WDDGM (P/N 25076294).

A quieter clock movement has been installed in clocks that have a date code after Julian date 1505 (May 30, 1985).. This code is located on a white return tag on the rear of the clock. It is the last four digits of the seven digit number.
