Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Condenser Mounting:




Tool Required:
J-38100-C A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Station.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. rille and molding.
4. R.H. and L.H. headlamps.
5. Headlamp mounting panel/front end panel and mounting brackets.
6. Hood latch assembly.
7. Condenser retainers and splash shields.
8. Lines at condenser and discard O-ring seals.
^ Install sealing caps on lines.
9. Carefully remove condenser from vehicle.
10. Transfer splash shields (if necessary).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Condenser.
2. Condenser retainers and splash shield.
3. Line at condenser using new O-ring seals.
4. Headlamp mounting panel/front end panel and mounting brackets.
5. Hood latch assembly.
6. Headlamp assemblies.
7. Grille and molding to headlamp mounting panel/ front end panel.
8. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R-12.
9. Negative battery cable.
