J-38100-C Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Station

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Instrument panel (I/P)assembly.
3. Drain cooling system.
4. Recover refrigerant.
5. Hoist vehicle.
6. Block fitting at evaporator and discard O-rings.
7. Heater hoses.
8. Evaporator drain hose.
9. Lower module bolt.
10. Lower vehicle.
11. Top module bolts.
12. Inside module bolts.
13. ECM and bracket.
14. I/P bracket.
15. Module.
16. Defrost, mode or temperature valves by removing the pivot rods.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Defrost, mode or temperature valves by installing pivot rods.
2. Module.
3. I/P bracket.
4. ECM and bracket.
5. Inside module bolts.
6. Top module bolts.
7. Raise vehicle.
8. Lower module bolt.
9. Drain hose.
10. Heater hoses.
11. Block fitting at evaporator using new O-ring seals.
12. Lower vehicle.
13. I/P.
14. Refill cooling system.
15. Negative battery cable.
16. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R12.
