Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Fig. 8 Ignition Coil Module Assy 2.5L/4-151:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connectors at ignition coil module.
3. Disconnect and tag spark plug wires at coils.
4. Remove ignition coil module to engine attaching bolts, then remove module, Fig. 8.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque coil to ignition coil module to engine attaching bolts to 20 ft. lbs.
