Torque Specifications

Cylinder Head Bolts

Fig. 3 Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence:

1. Torque all bolts to [1] 18 ft. lbs.
2. Retorque all bolts to [1] [2] 26 ft. lbs.
Retorque No. 9 to 18 ft. lbs.
3. Turn all bolts [1] 90° (1/4 turn)

[2] except No. 9
