Circuit Operation

With the Headlamp switch in PARK or HEAD, voltage is applied to the Foglamp switch. Voltage is also applied at all times to the switch side of the Fog Lamps Relay through I/P Fuse Block FOG LPS Fuse. With the Foglamp switch in the ON position, voltage is applied to the coil of the Fog Lamps Relay. The coil receives ground through the Lamp Control Module (LCM). With the Fog Lamps Relay coil energized, its contacts close, applying voltage to the Foglamps. If the high beam headlamps are turned on, the LCM removes the ground from the Fog Lamps Relay and the Foglamps turn OFF.
