Differential Carrier Internal Gear Assemble

^ Tools Required:
- J28585 Snap Ring Remover
- Or Equivalent





1. Inspect the differential carrier internal gear assembly (693) for the following conditions:
^ Damaged or worn bushings
^ Plugged lube oil holes
^ Damaged case splines
^ Damaged or worn gear teeth
^ A damaged or worn park pawl assembly
^ A damaged snap ring





2. Install the differential carrier internal gear assembly (693) into the case. Align the park pawl assembly with the park pawl actuator assembly.





3. Use J 28585 or a long screwdriver in order to install the snap ring (692) into the case.
