Programming Transmitters

1. Turn Ignition to the "OFF" position.
2. Remove RADIO Fuse 17 from the Fuse Block.
3. Cycle the Ignition Switch from "OFF" to "RUN" three times within 5 seconds. The door locks and hatch release will cycle, indicating the Body Control Module is in the Programming Mode.
4. Press and hold both "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter for 16 seconds.
^ Door Locks will cycle once. confirming the Transmitter code is programmed.
^ Any Transmitter code that was previously programmed has been erased.
^ The BCM is now programmed to the Transmitter.
5. If programming the BCM to match additional Remote Control Door Lock Transmitters (up to four), repeat step 4. This must be done before the RADIO Fuse 17 is reinstalled.
6. Ignition Switch to the "OFF" position.
7. Reinstall RADIO Fuse 17 to Fuse Block.

IMPORTANT:
Always program all Remote Control Door Lock Transmitters when replacing a lost or damaged Transmitter. The first Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter Code programmed will always be in all four memories until additional Remote Control Door Lock Transmitters are programmed within the same sequence.
^ The Remote Keyless Entry System will not be operational if the program input line (RADIO Fuse 17) is open.
^ Program only one vehicle Remote Keyless Entry System at a time. If multiple vehicles are being programmed in close proximity simultaneously, it is possible that the same Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter could be programmed to more than one vehicle.
