Temperature Control

The temperature control is mechanically linked to the air temperature valve (door) by a temperature control cable. Rotating the temperature control clockwise allows more of the incoming or re-circulated air to flow through the heater core, thus increasing the air temperature entering the vehicle. Rotating the temperature control counterclockwise decreases air flow through the heater core, thus decreasing the air temperature entering the vehicle.
