Manual Transmission/Transaxle: Application and ID

The 5-speed manual transmission (RPO M49) is the only manual transmission available for the 3800 VIN K V6 engine. Manual transmissions are identified by the number of forward gears and the measured distance between the centerline of the output shaft and the counter gear.
