Power Sunroof Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Close the sunroof.
2. Remove the headlining trim finish panel.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

3. Disconnect the battery.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the sunroof control switch (1).




5. Disconnect the rear drain hose connections.




6. Disconnect the front drain hose connections.
7. Remove the sunroof module bolts.




8. Remove the sunroof module from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sunroof module to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the sunroof module bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the sunroof module bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Connect the rear drain hose connections.




4. Connect the front drain hose connections.
5. Connect the battery. Refer to Battery Cable in Engine Electrical.




6. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the sunroof control switch (1).
7. Connect the sunroof express module.
8. Install the headlining trim finish panel.
9. Inspect the sunroof for proper operation.
