Mirror Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove mirror bezel bolt/screw. (2)
2. Remove rearview mirror bezel (3).
3. Remove remote handle from bezel, if equipped.
4. Remove door trim panel from door.
5. Disconnect electrical connector, if equipped.
5.1. Pull rosebud clip on electrical connector from mirror.
5.2. Pull apart connection.




6. Remove outside rearview mirror nuts (1) from mirror assembly (2).
7. Remove outside rearview mirror (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install outside rearview mirror.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install outside rearview mirror nuts (1) to mirror assembly (2).

Tighten
Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts (1) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

3. Connect electrical connector if equipped.
3.1. Push connectors together.
3.2. Push rosebud clip into electrical connector.
4. Install door trim panel from door.
5. Install remote handle from bezel, if equipped.




6. Install rearview mirror bezel (2).

IMPORTANT: Ensure that retainer guides on back of bezel is aligned with holes in applique.

7. Install rearview mirror bezel bolt/screw.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt/screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
