Shift Interlock: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement.
2. Disconnect the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) solenoid electrical connector (1).

3. Unsnap the BTSI solenoid from the transmission control base.

Installation Procedure

1. Snap the BTSI solenoid to the transmission control base.

2. Connect the BTSI solenoid electrical connector (1).
3. Install the front floor console trim plate.
