Content Theft Deterrent

BCM type 4 features a Content Theft Deterrent system (CTD). The CTD is designed to deter vehicle vandalism and theft. The content theft deterrent system performs the following functions:

^ Sounds the horn

^ The lock cylinders
^ The rear compartment lid
^ The shock sensor
^ The power door locks
^ The keyless entry system

The BCM operates the following components, depending on the mode:
^ The headlamps
^ The horn
^ The theft deterrent indicator lamp

^ The arm/disarm modes
