Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Disconnect the cruise control cable at the cruise control module and the throttle lever.
2. Ensure that the cruise control cable moves in and out of the cable casing freely and smoothly.
3. Replace any sticking or binding cables.
4. Replace any cable adjuster lock that does not hold under normal operating conditions.
