Door Module: Service and Repair



Front Door Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Door) (Panel Replacement) .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
3. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Front Side Door Window Replacement) .
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




5. Remove the front door lock module screws.
6. Remove the front door lock module from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door lock module to the front door.
2. Align the lock module locator pin into the upper edge of the front door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the front door lock module screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connectors.
5. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Front Side Door Window Replacement) .
6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
7. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Door) (Panel Replacement) .
