Front Seat Adjuster Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement).
2. Remove the inner cushion trim cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket))Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket)).
3. Remove the outer cushion trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement).
4. Remove the front seat belt buckle. Refer to the following procedures in Seat Belts:

* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front
* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front




5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front seat adjuster motors.




6. Remove the bolts from the seat adjuster.




7. Remove the adjuster from the seat cushion frame.
8. Remove the handle from the seat adjuster.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front seat adjuster to the seat cushion frame.




2. Install the seat back recliner cable to the recessed space on the right and on the left sides of the seat cushion frame.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts to the front seat adjuster.

Tighten the bolts to 43 Nm (32 lb ft).

4. Install the handle to the front seat adjuster.




5. Connect the electrical connectors to the front seat adjuster motors.
6. Install the front seat belt buckle. Refer to the following procedures in Seat Belts:

* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front
* Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front

7. Install the inner cushion trim cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Front Bucket))Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket) (Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Bucket)).
8. Install the outer cushion trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement).
9. Install the bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement).
