Stoplamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.





3. Remove the stoplamp switch (1) from the brake pedal bracket by turning the switch counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn, and pulling back.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the stoplamp switch (1) into the slotted grooves until switch is fully depressed against the brake pedal (2), then turn the switch clockwise approximately 1/4 turn, the switch should now be installed and adjusted.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the left side instrument panel insulator.
4. If necessary, adjust the stoplamp switch.
