Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

HEADLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
2. Grasp the headlamp switch and pull firmly to release the retaining tabs from the IP carrier.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp switch.
4. Remove the headlamp switch from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp switch.




2. Position the headlamp switch to the retainers in the instrument panel carrier.
3. Install the headlamp switch to the instrument panel carrier pressing into place until fully seated.
4. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
