Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Service and Repair

CRUISE RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left side IP insulator.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control release switch.
3. Pull outward in order to remove the cruise control release switch from the retainer in the brake pedal bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Push inward in order to install the cruise control release switch to the retainer in the brake pedal bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connector into the cruise control release switch.
3. Adjust the cruise control release switch and stop lamp switch. Refer to Cruise Release Switch Adjustment.
4. Install the left side IP insulator.
