Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is mounted in the rear air intake duct.

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
2. Grasp and remove the IAT sensor (3) with a twisting and pulling motion.

Installation Procedure

1. Position and insert the IAT sensor (3) into the rear air intake duct (2).
2. Connect the IAT electrical connector.
