Console Replacement - Overhead (Aztek)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the overhead storage compartments.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the second seat audio control from the overhead console. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Aztek) Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Rendezvous) in Entertainment.
4. Remove the overhead console from the headliner by pulling in a downward position in order to disengage the retaining clips. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.
5. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the overhead console to the headliner by pushing up until the retaining clips engage.
2. Install the screws to the overhead storage compartment.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the second seat audio controls to the overhead console. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Aztek) Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Rendezvous) in Entertainment.
4. Close the overhead compartment storage doors.
