Crankshaft Main Bearing

Main Bearing to Journal Clearance 1 0.0007-0.0016 inch
Main Bearing to Journal Clearance 2, 3 and 4 0.0009-0.0018 in.
Crankshaft main bearing cap bolt
Tighten the crankshaft main bearing cap bolts in equal increments. Do not completely tighten one bolt at a time to prevent the cap from being cocked.		First pass 30 ft.lbs.
Final pass 110 degrees
Crankshaft main bearing cap bolt (Side)
Tighten the crankshaft main bearing cap bolts in equal increments. Do not completely tighten one bolt at a time to prevent the cap from being cocked.		First pass 11 ft.lbs.
Final pass 45 degrees
