Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the catalytic converter.
2. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield bolts.
3. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the catalytic converter heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the converter heat shield bolts.
^ Tighten the catalytic converter heat shield bolts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
3. Install the catalytic converter.
