Window Molding Replacement - Rear Door Stationary

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
2. Remove the rear door window channel retainer. Refer to Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door (Door Window Channel) .
3. Remove the screws from the rear door stationary window molding.
4. Slide the molding rearward at the bend in order to release the molding.
5. Pull the molding away from the stationary window module.
Some back and forth movement may be needed in order to release the rear door stationary window molding mounting pins from the door stationary window module.
6. Remove the stationary window molding from the rear door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear door stationary window to the rear door.
2. Align the stationary window molding mounting pins with the retainers on the stationary window module.
3. Push the stationary window molding towards the window in order to secure the retainers.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws to the stationary window molding.

Tighten the rear door stationary window molding screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the rear door window channel retainer. Refer to Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door (Door Window Channel) .
6. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
