Flywheel to Torque Converter Bolt Replacement

Tools Required
^ J37096 Flywheel Holder

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the torque converter cover.





3. Use the J37623 in order to rotate the flywheel and access the torque converter bolts.
4. Use the J37623 to hold the flywheel.





5. Remove the flywheel to torque converter bolts.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the flywheel to torque converter bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Use the J37623 to hold the flywheel.
Tighten the bolts to 63 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the torque converter cover.
4. Lower the vehicle.
