Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

The rearview mirror fastens to the mirror support that bonds to the windshield.




1. Disconnect the rearview mirror reading lamp electrical connector, if applicable.
2. Loosen the set screw.




3. Slide the rearview mirror upward from the support.

Installation Procedure

1. Ensure that the set screw will clear the rearview mirror support.




2. Slide the rearview mirror assembly downward on the support until the mirror assembly bottoms.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the rearview mirror set screw.

Tighten the rearview mirror set screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the rearview mirror reading lamp electrical connector, if applicable.
